Good morning, after much work by many people the second issue of Amateurs Magazine is here.
Let me try to explain this new issue…
First I’ll start with facts:
116 pages. Perfect bound. 13.5” by 10.5”. Full color. Three different covers.
Next I’ll go with feeling:
It’s great, a huge upgrade from issue one. The newsprint and format of issue one was beautiful but that was just a stepping stone to get to where we are with issue two. It’s really hard to describe, the feeling of holding it in your hands, the way it looks on the shelf… I am very proud of how it came out and forever grateful to all the people involved in making it happen. The photography is beautiful, the stories are fun and interesting. The printing is amazing. It really feels like a thing to collect. I hope everyone gets the chance to buy a copy or at least see one in real life.
There’s not much else to say but I hope you buy a copy and see the work how it was meant to be seen. Printed large and not backlit. Website is HERE.
There will be release events end of June and early July in -
