I’ve never liked running. If you played sports growing up you know it was always a punishment, and the thought of running in a circle is still a punishment in my mind... But recently I discovered enjoyment in running as a way to move through the woods fast. This release is a celebration of moving through nature.

We ran, we jumped, we climbed, and eventually we swam. Then we ran, jumped, and climbed some more, getting back to the car after the sun had set.
This adventure was photographed by Reggie McCafferty, and featured model and runner Evan McKnight. If you don’t even read a word of this at least scroll through the photos because I think they are really great.
The redesigned Lumbar Pack seen on Evan sits comfortably on the hips for ultimate mobility, it holds: Water Bottle, Water Purification (Sawyer Squeeze, soft bag), Swim Trunks, Goggles, Travel Towel, Lip Balm, Sun Screen, Phone, Mid layer, Pear.
Some new features of the redesign as follows:
- New rounder profile for a better fit to body
- Front bungee made of reflective shock cord for carrying extra layers on outside of the pack (shock cord is replaceable (not sewn in) in case it loses stretch)
- Reflective strip on front for safety at night in the city, and easier locating at night in the woods
- Daisy chain on front for hooking items like keys and climbing shoes
- 3D spacer mesh on back and straps replaced with Cordura for extra durability
- Larger top zipper opening for easier access to main pocket
The Lumbar Pack can also be worn crossbody for less dynamic travel.
As always the Lumbar Packs are handmade in Brooklyn, NY and this is a limited release.

The Lumbar Packs are made from a waterproof, recycled polyester from Challenge Sailcloth, Cordura, YKK zippers, and plastic hardware for a highly water resistant, light weight, and durable pack.
T-Shirts designed by Bee Daniel, printed by Mind Garden are also seen in this shoot and available with this release.
